Review of A Most Violent Year (2014) by Mark B — 30 Jan 2015

I loved this story, who knew that the early distributors of oil had such a tough time making empires, as in this movie a sectional look at one mans distributorship of Standard Oil. This one man was true to what he believed to be the right path and he went straight for it, despite the obstacles in his way.

Lots of twist and turns in this one, what appears to be straightforward isn't always the way it is. Loved the set decoration, the wardrobe was right the cars were exactly right, even down to the wear and tear.

Well acted, great story, good direction!
