Review of A Million Ways to Die in the West (2014) by Funkonion — 15 Jun 2014
The two big questions going into this movie are 1) Is it funny? and 2) Is Seth McFarlane funny? Yikes. Unfortunately, no and no. Hand to gods, I gave this flick a fair chance. But it's embarrassingly unfunny and has the same stale vibe as modern Family Guy episodes: try-hard jokey jokes strung together to fill time.
It's pretty clear that this picture is Seth McFarlane's swing at being a comedic lead. It's a swing and a big miss. Ted was great. Early Family Guy was great. This is most definitely not great. It's actually embarrassingly unfunny.
