Review of A Million Ways to Die in the West (2014) by Theapplegnome — 02 Jan 2015
This movie is so dumb. But it succeeds with sick humor and great actor performances.
The first act got many funny, sick and unique events that totally got my interest. The second and the third however, are awful. There’s almost no humor in both of them, and the ending is just boring and there’s nothing unique about it. The actors however are awesome, especially Liam Neeson and Neil Patrick Harris. Seth MacFalane is on the other hand terrible. He’s not an impassioned or good actor. But he does give Albert great character development. This movie is overall boring, especially the second and the third act. I did expect much more from the creator of Ted (2012).
If you’re looking for a great comedy-based film, isn’t this a great choice.
A Million Ways to Die in the West gets a 5/10.
