Review of A Mighty Heart (2007) by Shanah K — 13 Jun 2008

This movie was truly heartbreaking. Knowing how it was going to turn out did not stop me from wishing it would or could be different. Angelina Jolie was terrific in this movie, and her portryal of a wife who loves and would do anything for her husband should have earned her an Oscar nomination.

I enjoyed how they focused more on the resue attempt and less on the actual kidnapping, it made it seem more real. I also enjoyed how they intermittingly gave the viewers insight into the relationship between husband and wife prior to the kidnapping and death.

This movie really made me cry.
