Review of A Mighty Heart (2007) by Gregory M — 09 Jul 2012
Based on a true story of a kidnapping of an American journalist Daniel Pearl in Pakistan post-9/11. Intense and almost documentary-like film from Winterbottom who gives us an insight on how the investigation to find Pearl played out through the eyes of his pregnant wife Mariane.
Jolie gives a good performance with a one truly "oscar-worthy" scene. Still overall this feels a bit flat and ends up on the average rating zone.
