Angelina Jolie gives by far one of her most heartwarming and powerful performances in this movie based on the true life horrific tale of the kidnapping and killing of American journalist, Daniel Pearl.

Jolie is heartbreakingly convincing as she deals with the stress and anxiety of the terrible situation at hand, as well as her impending pregnancy to the son her husband will never know. Marianne Pearl is an amazing woman who, despite being hurt by the worst of terrorists, will not allow herself to be terrorized.

She must live on, day by day, for her son.
