Review of A Mighty Heart (2007) by Kari S — 18 Jan 2009

A pretty good drama that at the same time benefits and suffers from its realistic, documentarish style. The movie is very believable not only storywise (which goes without saying) but also the dialogue and the characters feel very real.

On the other hand, the movie focuses a bit too much on the actual event and a bit too little on the characters which causes the viewer to feel a bit like an outsider and not really care about the characters as much as would be necessary.
