Review of A Midsummer Night's Sex Comedy (1982) by Stuart K — 16 May 2012
I am more ambivalent about this than I have been more most of Allen's earlier works. It's not particularly funny yet it is still interesting. I cant put my finger on it but A Midsummer Night's Sex Comedy is enough to serve ones appetite for Woody Allen but it will achieve little more than that.
Functional is the word.
