Review of A Man for All Seasons (1966) by Chloe S — 24 Jun 2007
This is a solid movie. I'm not sure how accurate all of the historical characters were portrayed, so I intend to research that and see the movie again at some point. As a movie, it's a little slow in some parts, and the colouring on the screen can appear drab at times, but the acting is great and so is the dialog, and it's an honorable and inspiring story. I also really like the music! This film used to be pretty boring to me when we watched it every year in junior high, but watching it again recently has brought about a new appreciation toward it.
So, even with historical accuracy in question, this film's rating is at least four stars.
