Review of A Man for All Seasons (1966) by Susan M — 11 Aug 2007
A brilliant movie about a brilliant man, who refuses to yield his integrity to the tyranny of Henry VIII. Paul Scofield gives an unparalleled performance as More. The supporting cast is also uniformly excellent.
The dialogue is scintillating, the story compelling, and the atmosphere of life among the Tudors is perfectly captured.
