Historical inaccuracies aside, this has to be one of the best play-to-film script projects ever & features two of the great historical figure portrayals with Paul Scofield as More and Robert Shaw as Henry VIII.
..Bolt must have had a good time writing these characters, with their grand yet pithy rhetorical flourishes...very enjoyable as a piece of historical literature and as a movie...
