Review of A Man Called Horse (1970) by Tom H — 26 Apr 2008
A great western without the cowboys. this film starts off portraying Indians as brutal and savage creatures, which the main character experience but changes his point of view after living with them as a prisoner and slowly becoming a part of the tribe.
but before he can be one of them and claim a wife, he must endure excruciating pain so he can become scarred and worthy. great effects and shocking as well.
