Review of A Lot Like Love (2005) by David B — 05 Jan 2009
As romcoms go this one isn't bad. Naive Oliver keeps running into not so naive Emily over the course of seven years.
As with all such movies the two main characters can't get it together for various reasons. Partners come and go, friends come and go. Though one suspects it might be down to the fact that when she's hurt she closes down into herself, he on the other hand discusses his feelings to the point that she either tries to jump him, and fails, or she cranks the volume on the radio until he stops talking.
It's not a great movie but it certainly isn't the leads worst movie.
