Review of A Lot Like Love (2005) by Jiana W — 09 Oct 2012
The DVD boasts a "When Harry Met Sally" reference but make no mistake... there's nothing "When Harry Met Sally" about this. Bumbling Kutcher and the normally very charming Peet have no real onscreen chemistry.
He is not a good male lead and their characters just aren't interesting together. It's not fate or circumstances that keep them apart, it's their own stupid and oftentimes asinine excuses that do.
None of the reasons are very convincing. Their relationship is obviously supposed to be cute and playful (the dinner/water-spitting scene) but it really isn't. Not a good romcom.
