Review of A Lonely Place to Die (2011) by Calvin R — 28 Apr 2012
A Lonely Place to Die is a British thriller that is not original, but it is exhilarating, captivating, and is filled with intense suspense.
Director Julian Gilbey, camera work was amazing, and I like how he builds his character, and his usage of the mountain scenery was amazing as well. Good script and well-written, for a low budgeted film.
Performance was top-notch for a unknown cast (well to me), especially Mellisa George and Ed Speleers.
Good tension that is build throughout the film, and it keeps you hooked until the credit ends. Great job Julian Gilbey, for capturing great thrills.
Overall nothing original, but definitely one of the better British thrillers that has arrived.
