Review of A Lonely Place to Die (2011) by Kieran L — 15 Apr 2013
Great to see a film shot almost entirely in the Scottish Highlands. A low budget Cliffhanger style thriller with a dash of horror thrown into the mix to make it infinitely more nerve-wracking. The Gilbeys provide naturalistic dialogue and get great performances from the cast in return.
They also make great use of the location. I'd also much rather watch Melissa George run around than Sly Stallone any day. However, given the largely British cast its baffling that they went with her using an 'American' accent.
