Review of A Late Quartet (2012) by Brian K — 02 Dec 2012
We loved this film and the portrait it painted of the intense and complex passions of performers at this level. In a movie climate dominated by mass-appeal blockbusters, it is encouraging that a film like this one can be so wonderfully cast and artistically made.
We had to drive a long way to find a theater willing to buck the holiday trend and screen this film.
