Review of A Jazzman's Blues (2022) by Ratedrex — 25 Sep 2022
This isn't a great film, but I think it is Tyler Perry's best film. Usually, Perry appears as though he is just throwing stuff together, quickly, to make a buck. This time it looks as if he was set on creating something artistic.
He did. Maybe this "A Jazzman's Blues" is the turning point in Perry's approach to filmmaking. I hope so.
