Definitely overrhyped, but recommended nonetheless. This is not a traditional Cronenberg movie, that is to say this is a fairly traditional movie. Here, the director's trademark violence isn't as upfront and is instead used arguably more effectively as a tool to remove any of the perceived glamour from violence.
