This movie was overrated. another case of critics awarding high ratings simply because its an independent film. slap dutch subtitles on movie these days and everyone wets their bed.

Dont get me wrong, the movie was fine, but in no way is this an award winning or great movie . it frankly was not that exciting. I did not find the drama of the negotiations to be that tense. everyone seems to be jazzed up by the portrayal of the CEO - the acting was great, but I just think there could have been more drama throughout an 80+ day hostage situation. I dont think the movie captured how bad that must have been- I was bored through most of scenes between the prisoners and captors. the blockbuster with tom hanks looks a lot more exciting...sorry...
