Review of A Hijacking (2012) by Piers C — 28 Dec 2013
A Somali pirate film which doesn't involve Tom Hanks.
Here it is an intense Danish drama focusing equally on the experiences of the ship's cook and how he deals with the situation and the CEO of the shipping company who is negotiating with the pirates. Borgen cast members Pilou Asbæk and Soren Malling bring great weight to these two roles and the script is well paced leaving you guessing on he outcome to the end.
A very worthy watch.
