Ever wanna watch Marlon Wayans have sex with the doll from Annabelle for five minutes? No? You didn't want to watch him perform cunnilingus, anilingus, and everything in between with that doll? Well, too fucking bad if you make the tragic mistake of watching this film, because that is what happens at one point in this film.
A Haunted House 2 is on the same level of the Friedberg/Seltzer parody films, only this time adding more R-rated shenanigans into the mix. Still, the reason this fails is the same as those reasons the Friedberg/Seltzer parody films failed - it is almost nothing but references rather than actually trying to parody the films it references.
It references Sinister, The Conjuring, Paranormal Activity, Annabelle, The Exorcist, and a bunch of horror films, but it doesn't attempt to be funny other than just adding lazy gross-out and sex jokes.
Aside from a few moments making fun of Sinister, I hated the ever-loving fuck out of A Haunted House 2, which left me with folded arms scowling at the screen as I watched it. Go watch Black Dynamite, Airplane!, or Spy if you want a parody that is actually funny.
