Review of A Haunted House 2 (2014) by That Guy C — 28 May 2015

I am disappointed in this sequel. I was a fan of the first one because it had some pretty funny scenes while making fun of found footage films like Paranormal Activity. This one just had an overabundance of racial stereotypes and jokes to go along with it. It even tries to recreate scenes that they had in the first one to try and see if they will work again. This one tries to make fun of The Conjuring, The Possession, The Devil Inside (again), and Sinister. Most of the films jokes are racist jokes between Marlon Wayans and Gabriel Iglesias which get old really fast.

I'd recommend seeing the first one because it had a pretty good cast and more laughs to be had than this one. Sure, these movies are stupid humor and dumb fun, but this one hardly had anything to laugh at.

I don't think I want to see another one. One was definitely enough.
