If it wasn't for the fact that this is based on a true story, I'd accuse it of being a bit melodramatic. But it is, so it's not.
Great acting all round (maybe not by the mum though) with a fantastic soundtrack and a compelling story from beginning to end. Highly recommended. Nice to see Downey a bit more serious for a change.
