Review of A Guide to Recognizing Your Saints (2006) by Katie Y — 18 Oct 2008

A decent movie from first time director Dito Montiel. The only real problem I felt was the lack of coverage for the reveals of certain parts of the film. It felt as though we had to wait 5 or ten minutes to find out what our characters saw when it could have been covered in a 5 to 10 second pickup shot that could have a little exposition thrown in after.

Other than that main concern I felt that the cast gave great performances, especially a young Shia La.
