Spectacular film which captures the essence of the era, city, and characters. Viewers are sure to be lured in by any one or more characters as well as by the personal nature of the story. The film serves as a sort of autobiography of the filmmaker, yet some of the events in the film are symbolic of events which actually took place, rather than being exactly what transpired.
