I was just about to write a review of this - was looking through the reviews of other posters and danny d had written pretty much exactly what I wanted to. Great cast, well acted. Dito kinda keeps everyone at arm's length and you really feel like that watching it.

Very difficult to connect to any of the characters. Quirky direction style with quick flashes forward every now and then to show what's coming up. A lot of times when the soundtrack and the images aren't in sync.

Possibly another reason why it's difficult to connect. It's an extraordinary piece of film-making but just not engaging.
