Review of A Goofy Movie (1995) by Tariq H — 27 Jun 2012
This is a perfect example of an animated movie. Perfect voices, songs, writing and animation.
The film centers around Goofy and his son, Max in their fallin relationship. So, Goofy trys to regain his bond with his now teenage son by going on a fishing trip like he and his father did. During this trip, the expreince the ups and down of their trust and mistrust and being chased by Big Foot (don't ask) until Goofy finally agrees to let Max go on stage and dance with his idol, Powerline. In what, I have to say, THE BEST ANIMATED SEQUENCE EVER! I mean seriously, you can FEEL the emotion of the characters. During this moment where Max falls on stage with Goofy and Powerline, you can feel the joy in his heart when he looks up at his father and his idol, dancing on stage with the 2. Which is a good example why it's my favorite movie. Because the emotion is so believeable (Even if they're dogs).
I also LOVE the animation. You have to understand, this movie has a low budget so, this is AMAZING. I may have found some mistakes here and there (Bobby is on top of the staue at the start of the 2nd "Stand Out" sequence but then, he's in the bus 5-2 seconds later) but, it's still VERY outstanding. I think the car was CG a couple times, which I hate, but it barley bothers me.
In conclusion, this is my favorite movie and I DEFINATLY reccommed it if you haven't seen it. You won't be disapointed. Oh and by the way, 57% RT? REALLY?!
