Review of A Fish Called Wanda (1988) by Lisa G — 23 May 2010
Honestly speaking, while watching A Fish Called Wanda, I didn't have many laugh-out-loud moments as I had expected but the incredibly complex plot filled with many elements and surprises made the film a perfect experience.
There was comedy but not much. It was unbelievable that a man died watching this film becuase he laughed so bad. Jamie Lee Curtis gives an excellent performance as a seductive con artist. So do the other actors such as Kelvin Kline.
The characterisation is nearly pefect. The plot has loop holes which a viewer can resolve depending on his interpretation. I thought A Fish Called Wanda was a good crime film.
