Review of A Fish Called Wanda (1988) by Stephen S — 11 May 2010
The only things keeping this move from being legitimately great are the lack of clarity regarding Curtis' character (am I supposed to be rooting for her?) and Cleese's distracting physique. Other than that, this is a very well-written comedy that earns its laughs, with a genuinely Oscar-worthy performance Kline.
