I think I found this "black-comic farce" pointless because the events depicted aren't misfortunes for the leads; they are instead a wish fulfillment fantasy, lacking only the fairy godmother and magic wand.
Dylan Moran is worth watching, but as he is the only element to recommend the movie, I say don't bother.
