Sometimes I feel that I am biased when it comes to documentaries, and usually always have a high rating for them as well as a lot of films in general I've seen lately. This one in paticular is by far one of the best documentaries I've seen in my life.

I could say that it ranks #2 next to Born into Brothels as my #1 in this category. It's a travesty that this wasn't in the last academy awards and up for best doc. feature of the year. The images and pieces of film used here from the past durring the 1942 time the pieces where filmed are really soemthing that will stick in your mind for a long time.

The fact that these are images of reality is also something quite horrifying in a lot of aspects of this. It's interesting to see how everything was with film in the Warsaw Ghetto here, and also pretty disturbing and very effective.

You could say that this somewhat of a slice of real horror that will make one really appreciate the life we have where we live. Overall this is one of the best films of the decade and more people should seek it out.
