Review of A Few Good Men (1992) by Matt M — 16 Feb 2013
One of the most gripping courtroom dramas ever made, with a solid Aaron Sorkin script of his own successful Broadway play, about two marines charged with the murder of a member of their own platoon. The film is a slow starter, but then starts to unfold evil and twisted mysteries about the hardness of marine trainings in a way that comes close to being as intense if not stylistically similar to Natural Born Killers by Kubrick.
Jack Nicholson, with his final speech, wraps the film on a haunting and unforgettable note.
