Review of A Few Good Men (1992) by Liz C — 06 Feb 2010
This film is not a stencil cut courtroom or military drama. It's a movie with an engaging plot and characters you can root for the whole way through. The true gem of this film is the fantastic acting done by Jack Nicholson and even more so Tom Cruise.
The climactic ending, in which Nicholson proclaims "You can't handle the truth!", reveals the long subtle uncovering of potential as he does what he knew was impossible. This movie wasn't perfect, it had a number of continuity adr errors, but the incredible acting, climax, pacing, and story deserve its high rating.
A must see for any cinemaphile.
