Review of A Few Good Men (1992) by Ben M — 27 Feb 2010
You want the truth about this movie? "YOU CAN'T HANDLE THE TRUTH!" that this is actually, a good tom cruise movie. An headstrong and cocky attorney in the navy is assigned to defend a few marines who have supposedly killed a comrade while serving in Gitmo in Cuba.
The courtroom setting is always a great setting for dramas, and this movie is no exception. Cruise suprisingly does a good job being that he didn't really have to act to be a spineless and cocky trust fundee.
The real star though, is Nicholson who plays a badass and tough marine colonel who utters the famous line in the climax moments of the film. This is a great courtroom movie and drama fans will not be disappointed.
