Review of A Face in the Crowd (1957) by Ricky D — 14 Nov 2007
The movie that almost killed Andy Griffith's career before it began (he was so convincingly despicable, the public had a hard time separating the role from the actor). The Mid-Century Modern sets and Kazan's masterful editing make this film a real gem.
