Films are made for entertainment. That being said, not all films are meant tone judged along the lines of Citizen Kane. We took the family and we all had a wonderful time. We laughed, cried, and sighed, but one thing we did not do is regret seeing A Dog's Purpose.
It was a perfect outing to spend a couple of hours free from violence, foul language, and adult situations. One doesn't need Filmology classes to break this film down and dissect it for A Critic's Purpose.
