Review of A Dirty Carnival (2006) by Az D — 21 Jun 2008
An excellent gangster film from Korea with in your face street rumbles and a storyline as great or better than anything from Japan or Hong Kong. The tale of an ambitous underboss struggling to fit into the normal world is a plot that has been tapped into before but this movie was able to successfully bring a fresh new look and feel to the genre.
If you're a fan of Triad and Yakuza films, this movie comes highly recommended!
