Review of A Decade Under the Influence (2003) by Thomas P — 15 Jan 2008
Loved this documentary, even if it was too in awe of its subjects. At leat the film makers just let the directors and actors do the talking and didnt decide to narrate the proceedings which would have killed this stone dead.
Also, in comparison to the Easy Riders Doc, this focused more on the filmaking as opposed to hollywood gossip, which is why it is by far the stronger of the two. Unashamedly romantic about the era, but why not.
Oh and Julie Christie was bang on in what she was saying.
