Review of A Decade Under the Influence (2003) by Paul P — 17 Dec 2011
180 minutes about film in the 70s told by the Writers, Directors, Actors and Producers of the time...can you say heaven!?! You have to be into film and more importantly be into film that was made in the 70s.
I mean when they first showed Paul Schrader I got excited and said to myself "This is gonna be good!" The interviews aren't hard hitting but you've got moments where people like Francis Ford Coppolla say nonchalantly "I haven't made an original piece of work since The Conversation" Would've loved to watch it all in one sitting but I saw it in three sections with a week between them each so I don't know if it dragged at all.
