Review of A Dark Song (2016) by David H — 12 Nov 2017
The best horror films aren't full of special effects. It's films like this that evoke thought and possibly of what's just beyond. Beyond the closed door or the next room...or the next step of their ritual.
I enjoyed the pace of this film. Every moment was subtly thrilling. Not as scary as the "Exorcist"when I first enjoyed it but well worth its salt as an above average horror film. It reminded me of what could actually occur if this kind of event were undertaken in real life.
..and I'm sure it does. Which is really the scary part this film displays to the viewer. I thought it was well acted and directed too. Worth a peek certainly.
