Review of A Dangerous Method (2011) by Wayne M — 31 Mar 2012
A slow burning, highly cerebral film set in the early part of the century concerning the relationship between Freud and Jung and a patient they have in common named Sabina. This beautifully written, highly restrained film superbly captures the thoughts and actions of two great men and the women who comes into their lives.
This film will have you think and reflect on the inner workings of the mind. Fassbender and Mortsensen both produce great work under the astute directorship of Cronenberg.
