Review of A Dangerous Method (2011) by Daniel G — 11 Apr 2012
While the film is a subtle and dramatic piece full of well delivered performances by Michael Fassbender and Viggo Mortensen, and a real power house one by Keira Knightly, "A Dangerous Method" suffers from not being sure what to call it's self.
It shows grand displays of mentor and student, of love and sex, and of debate and difference, but it still feels empty. It's a thought provoking experience, but one not needing a second visit.
