Review of A Dangerous Method (2011) by Helen S — 14 Apr 2012
So sad to take a great historical figure, Jung, and turn him into a humorless bore. So many historical misrepresentations and the unfortunate patient is enacted to histrionic proportions beyond belief and reality.
Come on, Cronenberg, you can direct a movie that does not insult acting, psychiatry or the viewer. So boring that I could not believe that as a Jungian therapist I actually liked working with the severely mentally ill.
