Review of A Dangerous Method (2011) by Luke C — 17 May 2012
An intriguing yet slow-paced story about the figure of Karl Jung, his relationship with Sigmund Freud and the exploration of the ins and outs of Psychoanalysis. However, it leaves some interesting aspects of Psychoanalysis untouched, like the ongoing conflict with the medical community, mentioned in all but 20 seconds of this film.
That said, I'd still recommend it to any friend who'd like to watch yet another take at figures of the pioneers of modern psychoanalysts, to whom we owe so many phrases and expressions.
