Review of A Dangerous Method (2011) by Nina L — 17 Jul 2012
Well, on the contrary of many Cronenberg's movies, this is not fantastic nor uncanny. Not even weird. The story of the beginnings of psycho-analysis by Carl Jung, Sigmund Freud and Sabina Spierlein.
Well, they fought a lot and disagreed a bit at that time, my old folks! The actors are very good but, I reckon, I fell asleep, woke up and Sigmund and Carl were suddenly in...NYC (?!). At the end, well, they have a major issue and Carl is very depressed.
..It was interesting but hard to follow.
