Jung had an affair with his first patient, Sabina Spielrein. And, Sigmund Freud was involved . BUT, this movie does not do the story justice. Jung, for all his brilliance, was a womanizer. Spielrein was healed by him and later married.
However, it wasn't the method so much as Jung himself who openly embraced what he called his "Don Juanism," especially with Jewish women. Look for the DVD "My name was Sabina Spielrein" for the real story.
