Review of A Dangerous Method (2011) by Amber S — 16 Sep 2013
Knightley does hysteria with ample facial contortions to convince us she's serious about acting. Meanwhile the Fathers of psychoanalysis, Jung and Freud, indulge us as they analyse everything. Jung, surprisingly the more adventurous of the two, gets lost in the moment and breaks the cardinal doctor - patient sin.
The triangulated tension offers us fertile ground to ponder the dark side and get excited about all things Freud!! Don't go there if you're not prepared to be intellectually stimulated...
