Review of A Dangerous Method (2011) by Kevin M — 28 May 2012
The scenes between Fassbender and Mortensen are amazing. Were it a film solely about their intellectual discussions at the dawn of psychoanalysis, it would be a triumph. However, the story between Jung and his patient is long, boring, and ultimately leads nowhere as he doesn't seem to learn anything.
Great performances and a beautifully shot movie, but it falls short in the writing department.
