Review of A Dangerous Man (2009) by John W — 28 Apr 2010
At long last Seagal is almost back to his best. With the recent conveyor belt cookie cutter plot direct to DVD films he has been churning out. This one actually looks like he has made an effort. It's so nice to see him doing his own fight scenes again.
And the action scenes are top notch. Brutal fist fights and Amazing gun play. Chinese, Russians and Americans all kicking each other's asses. Okay the plot is poor, but this is no brainer action thriller after all.
So you don't really need to worry about it. I would say the only thing that lets this film down is the dubbing. Why in all of Seagals films lately is there the need to have his voice dubbed? At least they have made somewhat of an effort to make it sound like Seagal's voice.
Not like the appalling effort that was made in attack force. The Supporting actors all perform above par for this sort of film. True Seagal fans are going to love this.
